Color and Form
i think the artist used color well to show the shadows and deep the shadows. The shading in this picture gives the fruit its form and makes the subjects recognizable.

I agree, it is obviously seen that this painting used the rule of thirds well.

I agree. I find myself looking in a triangular pattern going from the faces to the feet to the pitcher in the corner.

I think that the eye movement is a small triangle in the face. I am first drawn to the woman's eyes, then to her mouth and then to the top of her head. The composition of this painting doesn't follow the rule of thirds, but I still this this painting works well with the subject in the middle.

Agreed! First thing I noticed was how good the legs were

I like how the girl isn't in the center of the page, it uses to rule of thirds but putting her off to the side. The shading in her face and clothes makes the picture look really realistic. I also think the colors go well wither fair skin.
